Turin born tenor, Massimiliano Pisipia, made his professional debut as Pinkerton in Puccini’s Madama Butterfly after initial vocal studies privately with Franco Corelli. He was a leading prize winner of the Giulietta Siminato and Tito Gobbi Vocal competitions. He made his international debut at the Opera in Leipzig as Riccardo in Verdi’s Ballo in maschera conducted by Riccardo Chailly.

Mr. Pisapia has sung in most of Europe’s leading theaters including La Scala, Zurich, Munich National Theater, Hamburg, Buenos Aires Colon, Florence, Turin and the Verona Area in a repertory including Duca in Rigoletto, Hoffmann. Gabriele in Simon Boccanegra, Rodolfo in Puccini’s Boheme Roberto Devereux, Alfredo in La traviata and Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor.

Mr. Pisapia’s most recent engagements have included Polito in Marseilles, Cavaradossi in Atlanta Rigoletto and Lucia in Hamburg, Rigoletto in Brussels and Aida in Liege.
